The following table lists a number of configurations reported as working in native SuperWide™ mode. Note that it is possible to drive the display using a different resolution, although the results will almost certainly not be as good. For SGI’s own guidelines to using the 1600SW Display on various setups, please visit the following link.By no means is this an exhaustive list. If you would like to report a working configuration then please use the contact section to report it.

1 Consult the following notes (by Matt Clark)
2 W2000 requires PowerStrip to add custom 1600 x 1024 @ 60Hz resolution

Creating Custom Settings (Windows)

Some users have reported that when using W2000 the native SuperWide™ resolution is not always available. If this is the case then you could try downloading the shareware program Powerstrip that allows you to create a custom resolution:

PowerStrip 3.9
